If the complainant has not approached the bank first with the complaint. The complaint would only be accepted if the bank has rejected the complaint or there has been no reply for 1 month after the concerned bank received the case or the complaint is not satisfied with the reply that has been given.
If the complaint was made to the banking ombudsman one year after the cause of action.
If the complaint is regarding something which was settled by the banking ombudsman previously.
If the complaint about the same subject matter is pending before any court, tribunal or arbitrator or a final order has already been passed by such an authority.
If the complaint is frivolous or vexatious in nature.
If there is no loss or damage caused to the complainant.
If it is pursued without sufficient cause and reasonable diligence.
If the complaint is outside the purview of the banking ombudsman scheme.
The Sukanya Samridhhi Scheme account offers an interest rate of 9.1% per year currently. The interest would be compounded annually and would be directly credited to the account. This interest rate will be revised in April every year.
Sukanya Samriddhi Scheme can only be opened in the name of the girl child and the guardian will deposit the amount on behalf of the minor girl child in this account. The account can b opened in any post office or authorized banks like the State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, Bank of India, Canara Bank, Andhra Bank, UCO Bank, and Allahabad Bank etc.
